Finally, Salman Khan sends reply to Maharashtra women’s panel
The on-screen character was issued a notification for his 'assaulted lady' work.
Bollywood on-screen character Salman Khan has sent his answer to the Maharashtra State Commission for Women's summons requesting that he clarify his late "assault comment", a top authority said here on Thursday.
"He has documented his answer to us today. We are concentrating on it before choosing the following strategy. I can't uncover subtle elements at this stage," MSCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar told IANS.
Salman skirted the MSCW's summons for individual appearance for the second time on July 7 and stayed away even on Thursday which was the third and last date given to him to clarify his "felt like assaulted ladies" metaphor.
He was coordinated to present his answer in an oath structure clarifying his late remark which made an across the country furore.
Prior, he was summoned by the MSCW on June 29 and July 7 other than getting comparable summons from National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
On the two past events, through his attorney, Salman had asked the MSCW not to continue with the matter here since it was at that point pending before the NCW to maintain a strategic distance from duplication, however Rahatkar had turned down his request.
"We have simultaneous powers quite recently the way the NCW has. This matter can be heard at the state level as well. Thusly, his variant is invalid," Rahatkar said then, straight dismissing his request.
The 50-year-old performing artist was issued a notification for his "assaulted lady" comment. Amid a gathering media connection before the arrival of his blockbuster "Sultan" not long ago, Salman said that he "felt like an assaulted lady" subsequent to shooting for a tiresome wrestling grouping in the film.
