Rival political gatherings had blamed CBFC boss Nihalani for attempting to subotage the film's discharge, which highlights the medication issue in Punjab.

With Bombay High Court on Monday clearing decks for the arrival of Udta Punjab, which was gotten in control line, Punjab government said they had no protest to the motion picture's discharge.

"There is no expectation of the state government to stop the arrival of the motion picture," Punjab Education Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Secretary and Spokesman, Daljeet Singh Cheema said here on Monday.

"The general population will choose whether to see it or not," Cheema said while affirming that Akali government had never made any obstruction in the opportunity of expression.

At the point when requested that remark on the court's choice, he said they are no place in the photo. "We have not seen the story. We don't think about it and whatever (Bombay High) court has done it is correct. It is up to the control board what choice they take. We as government are no place in picture," he said.

Rival political gatherings had blamed Nihalani for attempting to subotage the arrival of the film, which highlights the medication issue in Punjab, under weight from the state government as Punjab goes to surveys one year from now.

Cheema, notwithstanding, kept up that SAD had as of now said that there was AAP's "hand" really taking shape of motion picture, planned to "criticize" Punjab.

Remarkably Shiromani Akali Dal on June 11 had asked the AAP Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to acknowledge his gathering's part in making of the film Udta Punjab as his own tweets to welcome motion picture's co-maker Sameer Nair has uncovered reality that the maker is a "dynamic part" of the gathering.

AAP on Monday said it has "no connections" with Udta Punjab and Nair hosted quit the get-together after 2014-Lok Sabha surveys.

Responding to Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh's announcement that he would kill drug issue inside one month if Congress came to control after next races, Cheema said, "It implies he realizes that there is no medication issue in the state. At the point when Amarinder quits raking up the medication issue, this issue will end.

"Till races, both Amarinder and AAP's Arvind Kejriwal, will keep on raising this issue."

Kejriwal, on his part, respected the court's decision on the motion picture.

"Udta Punjab judgment is a tight slap on Modi administration's narrow mindedness," Kejriwal tweeted.
