Pooja Thakur, who drove Guard of Honor for Barack Obama, charges segregation 

Wing Commander Pooja Thakur, who got the country's attention by driving the Guard of Honor for U.S. President Barack Obama amid his visit a year ago, has moved the Armed Forces Tribunal, requesting perpetual commission into the Indian Air Force. 

In her appeal, Ms. Thakur has guaranteed that IAF's choice to deny her a lasting bonus is "one-sided, oppressive, self-assertive and absurd." The tribunal has conceded the matter, and has requested IAF's reaction. 

Subsequent to finishing the greatest permitted 14 years under short administration, Mr. Thakur connected for perpetual commission. The IAF turned it down, provoking her to move the Tribunal.
