Shinzo Abe’s party wins big
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, trying to ease concern he would redirect consideration from settling a delicate economy to amending a conservative constitution after a major race win, said on Monday changing the sanction would not be simple.
Abe's coalition and associates won 66% of the seats in Parliament's upper house in a Sunday race. That triumph, with the decision alliance's 66% lion's share in the lower house, opens the way to reconsidering the constitution surprisingly since its reception.
