Arshid Qureshi and Rizwan Khan were captured by a group of Kerala Police and the Maharashtra ATS.

Arshid Qureshi and Rizwan Khan, the twosome captured from Mumbai by a joint group of Kerala Police and the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad, were conveyed to Kochi on Sunday for cross examination regarding an instance of strong religious change.

The couple, suspected to have Islamic State connections, was traveled to the Nedumbassery airplane terminal in a unique flying machine under tight security spread around twelve and taken to the Kalamassery furnished store camp.

Couple addressed

A few top officers of the police, including Range IG S. Sreejith, scrutinized the couple the entire day at the camp.

Official sources said examinations so far had uncovered that Qureshi had changed over a few persons, including those from Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Religious class

A portion of the Keralite young people missing from the State had gone to a religious class by Qureshi at his living arrangement in Mumbai.

Qureshi is relied upon to be taken to an Islamic study focus at Vytilla as a major aspect of proof gathering and will be delivered before the Ernakulam District Sessions Court on Monday.

While Qureshi had been captured recently from Navi Mumbai, Rizwan Khan was held from Kalyan on Saturday.

The Kochi city police had enrolled a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against Qureshi alongside Palakkad-local Yahiya assumed name Bestin Vincent.

This after Ebin Jacob (25), sibling of Merin who is lost alongside her significant other Yahia, gave an announcement before the police that the team constrained him to get changed over to Islam and join the terrorist association.

Amid an attack a week ago, the police purportedly found that Qureshi had gotten messages from the PCs at the Islamic Study focus, connected to the Salafi Masjid at Vytilla.
